Privacy Notice

What we collect

• Account data — name, email address, password credentials (stored hashed), and Google sign-in identifiers if you use social login.
• Company profile — company name, phone, email, address, logo, and your estimating defaults such as hourly rate and margins.
• Customer and project records — the customer names, contact details, addresses and job notes you enter about your own clients.
• Jobsite photographs and the AI analysis generated from them, plus the estimates and invoices you create.
• Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and log and usage records generated when you use the Service.
• Support messages you send us.

Why we use it and on what basis

• To create your account and provide the Service, including running AI analysis on your photos and generating estimates — necessary to perform our contract with you.
• To secure the Service and prevent fraud and abuse — our legitimate interest in protecting the platform and its users.
• To improve reliability and product quality using aggregated and diagnostic information — our legitimate interest.
• To respond to support requests — contract performance and legitimate interest.
• To send marketing communications — only with your consent, withdrawable at any time.
• To meet accounting, tax and other legal obligations — legal obligation.

Photographs you upload are sent to our AI processing provider to generate analysis. We do not sell personal data.

Who we share it with

• Service providers and subprocessors — hosting, database, file storage and AI model providers that operate the platform on our instructions.
• Merchant of Record — Paddle.com, which handles the sale of our subscriptions, subscription management, payment processing, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers — legal and accounting advisers where needed.
• Authorities — where we are required to disclose by law.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the UK and EEA. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep account, project, photo and estimate data for as long as your account is active. After you close your account we delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records longer for accounting, tax or legal reasons. Diagnostic logs are kept for a short rolling period.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us through your account settings — we aim to respond within one month.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls that restrict each account to its own records, and private storage for uploaded photographs. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep risk low and to respond quickly to issues.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure. These are required for the app to function. If we introduce analytics or marketing cookies, we will ask for your consent first and give you a way to manage your preferences.
